Fools Gold is a festival, market and community for independent music. Since 2018, we have gathered many of the best Swedish independent labels in Tantolunden in Stockholm for a full day of live music, record market and good times in the park, open to everyone and totally free. Fools Gold 2020 was cancelled due to you-know-what but returned in 2021 and 2022 in Stockholm and Malmö. In 2024, Fools Gold will take place in Stockholm on August 24th, in the same part of Tantolunden as 2023, the area closer to Tanto strandbad.

The artists and labels to be found at Fools Gold are vital parts of the Swedish music scene, and even though a lot of it is driven purely out of passion the music is often nationally acclaimed and spread across the world. Despite that it seldom leaves the basements and bars with age limits where it is often to be found. With Fools Gold we want to invite all of you who are already feeling at home at label nights in sweaty cellars but also you who never have heard of the independent scene. That's why Fools Gold is open to everyone and totally free. 

In the long term we want Fools Gold to grow and be an important platform for both the Swedish and Nordic indie scene. We think it’s something missing and something that would benefit all the people creating this fantastic scene - the audience, the artists and all the people working behind the scenes to make stuff happen. To do this we need all the support we can get and all donations are welcome - you can find our Swish number at the bottom of this page.
