Fools Gold is a festival, market and community for independent music, now finally ready to announce our plans for this year. Since 2018 we have gathered many of the best Swedish independent labels for a day full of live music, record market and good times in the park, open to everyone and totally free. In 2024, we do it again in Tantolunden in Stockholm on August 24th, find out more via the links above.
A new feature this year is that we're opening up a spot at the festival for acts that haven't yet collaborated with any record labels. Every year, we've received countless messages from bands wanting to perform but whom we haven't been able to offer a spot. Do you or your band want to perform at this year's festival? Submit your application HERE before May 31st (we’re sorry the form is in Swedish)!
In the long term we want Fools Gold to grow and be an important platform for both the Swedish and Nordic indie scene. We think it is needed and something that will benefit all the people creating this fantastic scene - the audience, the artists and all the people working behind the scenes to make stuff happen. We want to take the festival to more cities and at the same time continue to develop the already established one.
